SPAN 2020: Intermediate Spanish
Learned grammatical structures and vocabulary. It reinforced what I had learned in the past and helped develop my speaking, reading, and writing skills.
SPAN 3020: Intermediate Spanish Grammar & Composition (Spain)
This class was the first in a 3 class sequence while I was in Spain. I learned more advanced grammatical structures and improved upon my writing skills by composing multiple compositions while focusing on sentence structure and grammar.

SPAN 3050: Intermediate Spanish Conversation & Composition (Spain)
The second in my 3 class sequence in Spain. I continued to learn new grammatical sequences and more advanced vocabulary. I continued working on compositions and my writing style in Spanish.

SPAN 3160: Spanish for International Business 1
Learned about business practices in Spanish speaking companies and business vocabulary and the different challenges that I may face doing business internationally. Created a cohesive business plan throughout the entire semester for a company that I created.

SPAN 4160: Spanish for International Business 2
In progress. Learning more about business vocabulary and practices in Spanish speaking countries.

SPAN 4110: Advanced Spanish Conversation & Composition (Spain)
This is the final class of my 3 class sequence that I took while I was in Spain. Learned advanced vocabulary and communication skills. Emphasized advanced sentence structure and conjugations.

SPAN 3999: Spanish conversation (Spain)
A class I took while in Spain. Practiced my speaking skills everyday in class while learning about the culture in Spain. Gave multiple presentations on a variety of topics.
SPAN 3080: The Hispanic World: Latin America
Survey of the history of Latin America from ancient civilizations to present day. Studied the socioeconomic effects of historical events in the area.

SPAN 4060: Narrative Fiction
Studied and analyzed advanced readings of Spanish literature. Improved upon my critical thinking skills in Spanish.

SPAN 4050: International Trade Film & Literature
In progress. Analysis of readings and movies in the Spanish language. Studying different socioeconomic, symbolic, and technical themes within the works.​
Additional Courses
ENGL 3040: Business writing
Learned about different types of communication in the workplace. We wrote business memos, emails, and worked on our resumes. Completed a final portfolio for our dream job.

MATH 1020: Business Calc 1 & 2
Learned the basics of calculus used in business practices like equations and concepts.

COMM 2500: Public speaking
Completed multiple public speaking presentations about a variety of topics. This class ended early due to Covid.

POSC 1020: Intro to International Relations
Studied the basics of international relations and global issues. Learned about foreign policy and government relations.

PSYC 2010: Intro to Psychology
Learned about basic concepts of psychology.

PSYC 3520: Social Psychology
Learned about the psychology of group behavior and social situations. Studied the reasons behind why people act in certain ways.
ACCT 2020: Financial Accounting Concepts
Introduction to basic accounting concepts for business practices. Learned how to complete balance sheets, income reports, and cash flows.

ECON 2110: Principles of Microeconomics
Introduction to basic ideas of economic choices. Learned how consumer’s everyday choices affect different aspects of the world’s economy. We learned the basics of supply and demand curves, the factors that change each one.

MGT 2010: Principles of Management
Learned the importance of organization in a business and how to effectively manage the workplace. Completed many assignments based off of hypothetical business scenarios, in which we had to decide the best management method for success.

ECON 2120: Principles of Macroeconomics
Learned about the economic factors of GDP and production. We studied the different influences of unemployment and inflation.

MKT 3010: Principles of marketing
Learned the basic principles of marketing, like the importance of promotion, planning, price, and distribution of goods. An emphasis was placed on learning terminology for future marketing practices.
MKT 3020: Consumer Behavior
Studied all the reasons why consumers purchase the things they do. We analyzed the psychology behind the factors that influence their decision and how they respond to different marketing tactics.

MKT 4270: International Marketing
We did a deep into different cultures and challenges that come with marketing internationally. We learned about the different factors that influence firms' success in foreign markets such as attitudes, beliefs, religion, and norms.

MGT 4230: International Business Management
In progress. Studying management methods in different countries and how to accommodate the differences between foreign firms that affect international relations and trade.

ECON 3100: International Economics
An overview of international economies and the factors that influence them. We studied different economic phenomena while combining things I learned in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.

ECON 3020: Money and Banking
Learned the basic ideas of the roles of the IMF, federal reserve, exchange rates, foreign money services and more.
